ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Meet Dr. Lily Baker

DC, CSCS, RYT-e

Dr. Lily Baker (Hoog-Fry) is a board-certified Chiropractic Physician and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Through her work at Swell Wellness, which she co-owns with her husband, Dr. John Baker, she is known for helping active individuals improve their lives through opening their posture and understanding their bodies.

After years of healing her own body—and helping hundreds of patients with complex, full-body issues—she came to understand what truly works and what doesn’t. Her clinical focus has included TMJ and jaw dysfunction, pelvic floor and hip imbalances, foot mechanics, and hypermobility.

Drawing from a background in physical and osteopathic medicine, mindfulness, BowSpring, years as a Chiropractor, veteran yoga instructor, and strength training specialist, she integrates these disciplines into a cohesive, whole-body approach (this can be similar to yoga in it's cultivation of mindfulness but not in it's alignment methods).

After repeating the same principles with patients again and again, she knew it was time to develop Repattern—the virtual movement class she had always envisioned—to serve as many people as possible to open their posture to open their lives.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this course right for my injury or issue?

Repattern isn’t medical treatment nor was it designed to diagnose or treat any medical condition. It’s a movement-based practice that helps bring bodies back into natural, healthy and buoyant posture which can assist fluid movement (blood, lymph, ect), digestion, emotional armoring, supple fascia & long lasting joints. with that said, we've seen these principals help people thrive from Diastasis Recti, leakage, pelvic floor dysfunction, low back pain, plantar fascitisis, knee & shoulder complaints, neck pain/ headaches, jaw pain/ grinding/ clenching, airway issues, scoliosis and more.

How much time will I need each week?

This class is designed to teach you how to repattern as efficiently as possible. With that said, everything worth while in life takes commitment. Expect a minimum commitment of 4 hours of recorded content per module to work through the Theory, Align and Unwind movement sessions. you may move through the modules weekly, or slow down as needed to fit your lifestyle & repatterning. Each section includes simple daily homework—clear, focused tasks that take 15 minutes or less and help transform your patterns.

Do I need to be in pain to benefit?

Absolutely not. Repattern was designed to take you beyond just "okay" and toward optimal.

I'm Pregnant/ postpartum

if you've been active throughout your pregnancy, with your doctors blessing to workout, repattern would be an amazing way to prepare your body for birthing or to resettle into your body & build new patterns at least 6 weeks after birthing (you can start with the theory videos & module one before that).

I have hyper mobility

Dr. Lily is hypermobile herself. after getting diagnosed and not finding good answers on how to support her body, she dove deep into figuring it out for herself. this class was made for hyper mobile bodies with bowspring principals that teach you how to protect and strengthen your joints (& can have profound affects on the issues that can come along with hyper mobility like Pots, digestive issues and lymph pooling).

Work 1:1 with Dr. Lily

This class is the foundation of making the most of working 1:1 with dr. lily. You can learn the principals that apply to all bodies, animals, athletes, pregnant/ postpartum mamas and grandparents alike (yes, even you). For the most ideal repatterning, schedule a 1:1 session, with the completion of each module of the class to ask questions, refine your movement and make sure you aren't moving in old compensatory patterns.
